ULTRA has always given importance on Women Empowerment. Self employment Unit and Food Processing Units are two examples where nearly 100 women are involved and earning nearly Rs.2500/- to Rs.3000/- pm in average. Since it very necessary to provide leadership qualities among women ULTRA had organized a 3-Days Learship Programme at Sagargoan village from 23rd to 25th September 2012. All total 45 women of nearby villages had attended the programme. Many speeches of leading persons, their working styles and effects are explained to them in the meeting. They are truly involved in the programme and they are completely satisfied.
Adolescent girls and women of Sagargaon village and periphery areas were given training on Type & Short-hands in ULTRA premises under NORAD scheme with financial assistance from Women & Child Welfare Department, Govt. of India during the year 1998. About 50 women had completed the training programme and many of them are employed in public and private sectors.
