One Eye Detection Camp was organized at Sagargaon village on 1st October 2012 where 245 patients from nearby villages had attended the camp. Dr. Prafulla Ku. Tripathy, Retired Professor was leading the camp and he was assisted by local Para-medical staff. Required medical equipments for testing eyes were also placed in the camp. All the patients were properly checked up. Any defects if found in their eyes were supplied with prescription and required medicines. Many of the patients were also suggested for better treatment in nearby eye hospitals. The programme was quite successful and the volunteers of ULTRA had smoothly managed the programme.
Since ULTRA is distributing hearing aids all patients having defects in hearing were tested and supplied with hearing aids in the same camp. Dr. Chandrachuda Panigrahi , Dr. Rajiv Jaiswal and Dr. Debashis Mohanty were also present in the camp for check up of patients.
